Core responsibilities
Academic coaches provide personalized interactions to assist students in achieving their educational goals by helping peers with time management, software usage, study skills, stress management, test-Taking strategies, and organizational skills. They work with students both in-Person (Drop-In and appointment) and online (Appointment only), and may lead projects like creating tips sheets or workshops.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credits at uaa, in good academic standing, and have completed a minimum of 15 credits with a cumulative gpa of 2.5 or higher. Candidates should be organized, patient, willing to learn, and comfortable working with all types of students.
