Full-Time Lecturer - Teaching Associate Coordinator and Assistant Director (Lower-Division Language Program)

The role involves teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in language, linguistics, or methodology, and significantly focuses on training and supervising teaching associates (Tas) and graduate assistants (Gas) across various language programs. Key administrative duties include organizing ta orientation, conducting professional development workshops, performing teaching observations, and collaborating on curriculum assessment and staffing needs.

Candidates must possess a ph.d. In a relevant field (Or official notification of completion by august 1, 2026) and demonstrate advanced proficiency in english and spanish, along with intermediate proficiency in french, italian, and/Or german. Essential qualifications include demonstrated potential for teaching excellence, training/Supervision of teaching associates, and a commitment to working with diverse student populations.
