Part-Time Faculty- Academic Literacies

Responsibilities include teaching developmental integrated reading and writing courses focused on preparing students for college-Level academic writing assignments, and assessing student progress through formal and informal assessment methods. Faculty must also adhere to required deadlines for submitting grades and attendance information.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in an educational or writing-Intensive field such as english or developmental education, along with a minimum of two years of related full-Time professional experience teaching reading at a secondary level or above. Applicants must also be capable of teaching in face-To-Face settings and have experience with both synchronous and asynchronous online teaching.
