Requirements

  • For lead teacher:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum)
  • 45 hours Child Growth & Development
  • 45 hours Preschool Curriculum (required for ages 2–5)
  • 45 hours Infant–Toddler Certificate (required for ages 6 weeks–24 months)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility OR 30 college credits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of child development (social, emotional, and intellectual)
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage with children
  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
