Upper Level Math Instructor

The primary responsibility is teaching upper-Level mathematics and sat/Act preparation using the sylvan curriculum in a small group setting, which involves supervising, motivating students, and rewarding their progress. Instructors must also evaluate and document student progress and communicate student needs to the center director.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and advanced knowledge in teaching or tutoring subjects including calculus, algebra 1 & 2, geometry, and trigonometry. Two years of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
