Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher - Infant/Toddler - Early Childhood Program Specialist 2

The early head start teacher is responsible for implementing the educational curriculum and managing the daily operations of an early childhood classroom for infants/Toddlers, while also providing support services to families, including home visits. This role requires working collaboratively with another teacher in a co-Teaching model, adhering to head start performance standards and applicable regulations.

Minimum qualifications require a state-Awarded certificate in early childhood education – infant toddler care or a child development associate (Cda) credential, along with knowledge of early childhood theory, trauma impacts, and appropriate care techniques. Desired qualifications include an associate degree or higher and two or more years of experience working with children from birth to five years of age.
