Student - Peer Tutor

Peer tutors will primarily assist students by appointment in various tutoring centers, focusing on content knowledge, study skills, and test preparation. Tutors may also be assigned small projects at the baker center or serve as classroom assistants in developmental classes.

Applicants must possess strong content knowledge in their tutoring area and exhibit a patient, encouraging personality, focusing on helping students discover effective learning strategies. Tutors must also secure a recommendation from a tc3 faculty member and may need to complete a math skills evaluation.
