Para Professional Tutor

The para-Professional tutor provides tutorial services to students both in-Person and online, cultivating a positive atmosphere while serving as a role model and mentor to peer tutors. This role also involves completing training, potentially running training sessions, creating online modules, and participating in special projects.

Candidates must have a minimum of two semesters of tutoring or teaching experience, along with an associate's degree or 60+ college credits, including substantive coursework in a relevant discipline like math, science, or english/Writing. A cumulative gpa of 3.0 or higher and one employer recommendation in teaching/Tutoring are also required.
