The worker is responsible for providing dependable, safe, and age-appropriate care for children from infancy through 5th grade during church events or programming. This includes engaging children in organized activities, ensuring a clean environment, and adhering to all safety and security policies.
The Church at Nolensville Childcare Worker is responsible to the church, under the direction of the Church at Nolensville Preschool and Children’s Minister, for providing care for children infant through 5th grade during designated events where childcare is provided or during church programming, when needed PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for providing age-appropriate care for children ranging in age from infant-5th grade.
Provide dependable, safe and secure care to the children in the care of the Church at Nolensville.
Abide by all the safety and security policies outlined by Brentwood Baptist Church.
Maintain current CPR/First Aid Training for infants and children.
Engage children in organized activities while in childcare- using age-appropriate songs, stories, lessons and crafts.
Ensure safety and cleanliness of the childcare environment.
Know the emergency plans posted in each classroom and implement them when necessary.
Use appropriate, consistent and positive discipline.
