Responsibilities include assisting with the development of program goals and lesson plans in compliance with regulations, and creating a nurturing environment for children. Staff must implement educational and recreational activities, manage the classroom, and assist children with personal care needs like dressing and toileting.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in education or early childhood, and must pass clearance through the new york state central registry and ocfs. Two years of experience in a day care, pre-School, or special education setting is preferred, along with required certifications like first aid and cpr.
