Summer Day Camp Counselor

The day camp counselor is responsible for providing program leadership for a specific camper group under the supervision of the childcare director or program director, which includes maintaining discipline and remaining with the group at all times. This role also involves assisting directors with various branch activities, planning open period activities, maintaining camp equipment, and keeping attendance records.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess evidence of emotional maturity, good moral character, judgment, integrity, and leadership capability, along with current first aid and cpr certifications. The role requires the ability to create and work within a christian environment and adapt to changing circumstances, with physical capabilities including lifting up to 25lbs.
