Nursing Student

Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the student assists in providing goal-Directed individualized patient care utilizing the nursing process and care plan for an assigned group of patients. Responsibilities include performing physical assessments, preparing patients for transport or discharge, administering medications under supervision, and performing documentation.

Applicants must complete specific requirements and orientation materials prior to starting the internship or assignment, including uploading documentation for required criminal background and health history clearances, as well as a signed student research acknowledgement form. The role requires performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, stooping, and bending while maintaining professional behavior and adhering to confidentiality policies.
