Lactation Consultant, Labor and Delivery (Part Time, Days)

The lactation consultant promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in achieving their personal breastfeeding goals through consultation with inpatient and outpatient clients and health professionals. This role involves developing and implementing standards of care, providing education, and ensuring staff orientation regarding infant feeding policies.

Candidates must possess a certified lactation counselor (Clc) certification or have completed a lactation consultant certification program, with an international board certified lactation consultant (Ibclc) certification required within one year of hire. Preferred qualifications include an rn/Bsn or lpn license, along with a minimum of one year of lactation experience and 3-5 years in maternal/Child health.
