Assistant Teacher - Pre-K Classroom

The assistant teacher will supervise children, manage care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities, and assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for ages 3-5. Responsibilities also include maintaining a safe environment, communicating effectively with families, and accurately recording necessary documentation.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet minnesota rule 3 guidelines for assistant teachers, including a minimum of one year of experience in an early childhood classroom. Required qualifications also include cpr/First aid certification, passing a background check, physical, and drug test, along with the physical capacity to handle lifting up to 50 lbs and being on feet 80% of the time.
