Assistant Professor Dental Hygiene

The assistant professor will teach in both the didactic and clinical components of the dental hygiene program, including two days per week in the clinical setting and assigned didactic courses. Essential duties involve demonstrating effective instructional strategies, evaluating student learning, mentoring students, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in dental hygiene education or a related field (Or in progress to be completed within three years), didactic and/Or clinical teaching experience, a minimum of three years of clinical practice experience, and specific kansas certifications for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
