Special Education Paraprofessional

The special education paraprofessional assists in the resource room with instruction for special needs students, working closely with the teacher to create a supportive learning environment. They are responsible for implementing instructional programs and managing classroom activities to ensure students achieve their academic goals.

Candidates should have a passion for improving educational opportunities for urban students and possess effective classroom instructional and management skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with 1-2 years of experience working with students.
