Security Officer

The security officer provides a visible, professional armed security presence, primarily assigned to patrol the school's athletics facilities, including buildings, fields, and parking areas. Responsibilities include monitoring access points, reporting suspicious activity, responding to emergencies, and assisting with crowd and traffic control during events.

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant security or law enforcement experience and must obtain leosa certification or maryland wear and carry and maryland security guard certification within 90 days of hire. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver's license are also required.
