- Category: EducationAfter School Program Teachers Beginning August 2026 Gilman School seeks positive and energetic After School Program (ASP) Teachers to provide a safe, enjoyable extended day experience for students in the Lower School, grades pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. ASP Teachers will focus on the goals of the Lower School by creating opportunities for students to channel their curiosity, energy, and exuberance into a variety of activities after the school day is over. In addition, ASP Teachers will work collaboratively with other ASP team members to support each boy and will contribute to Gilman School’s mission to educate boys in mind, body, and spirit.
- The hours for this position are 3:00-5:30 p.m. each school day.
- Responsibilities include: Plan and oversee daily activities, including outside play, snack, and study/homework time Build positive relationships with students Guide students in the resolution of conflicts or concerns and report discipline problems to the Director if necessary Maintain inventory of supplies, games, snacks, and beverages Maintain accurate paperwork Keep an accurate sign in/out sheet in order to account for the students at all times Ensure students who travel on the Kangaroo Coach bus are accounted for Perform other duties as assigned by the
