Zumba Instructor (Hays)

The zumba/Dance fitness instructor is responsible for designing and leading energetic, dance-Based cardio classes suitable for all skill levels, focusing on improving fitness and coordination. This role also requires maintaining participant safety, cultivating a motivating atmosphere, preparing the fitness area, and promoting ymca programs.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a certified zumba instructor or equivalent dance fitness certification. Applicants need proven experience leading high-Energy classes, strong knowledge of choreography and safe movement, and must pass an audition before teaching, though first aid/Cpr certification is preferred within 60 days.
