The supplemental instruction leader will provide academic learning support by conducting supplemental instruction and tutoring students in classrooms and skill labs, while also assisting with the daily operations of the college’s learning centers. Essential functions include providing educational assistance in a specific discipline, preparing supplementary materials, attending classes, and leading small group discussions as directed.

A high school diploma or ged is required, though a college certificate or 30 college hours is preferred, along with demonstrated mastery in the subject matter, ideally earning a grade of b or higher. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency including microsoft office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while interacting with a diverse student population.
