Direct Wage - Lab Assistant (Emergency Medical Services)

The lab assistant conducts competency-Based practical skills labs for the emergency medical services program, assisting in the coordination and implementation of the training program for selected ems courses. Essential duties include maintaining supply inventory, assisting faculty with student supervision in classroom/Clinical settings, and providing direct supervision for national registry skills exam setup and breakdown.

A high school diploma or ged is required, though a college certificate or 30 college hours in emergency medical services is preferred, along with demonstrated mastery of relevant coursework. Applicants must possess a valid texas driver's license, proof of liability insurance, and the required texas department of state health services ems certification.
