Assistant Professor, Nursing

The faculty member is expected to teach 9 credits per semester, maintain currency in practice through direct care or advanced practice, and contribute to the department's scholarship agenda. Responsibilities also include advising students, mentoring, and providing service to departmental, school, and university committees.

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in nursing (Abd considered if degree is completed by hire date) and current new jersey rn/Np licensure or eligibility. Minimum requirements include three years of undergraduate nursing teaching experience and current direct care experience as an rn or apn.
