UNR Counseling Services Practicum Counselor

This position involves part-Time practicum work (15-20 hours per week) for masters or doctoral students in various mental health counseling programs at the university of nevada, reno counseling services. The program has a long history of training mental health professionals in social work, marriage and family therapy, and psychology.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a formal masters or doctoral program in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage counseling and family therapy, or a closely related mental health field, and must be in good standing with their program. Preference is given to applicants demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork, diversity, good communication skills, self-Care, openness to learning, and prior counseling experience.
