Sea Otter Care Intern (July - Dec 2026)

Core responsibilities include the daily care and feeding of ill, injured, and orphaned sea otters, along with maintaining and cleaning animal tanks and enclosures, and performing computer data entry. Interns may also assist with rescues, tracking released otters, administering medication, and managing otters in research projects.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college, and commit to 24 hours per week for six months, requiring animal handling experience with mammals. Essential requirements include submitting a resume, providing two letters of recommendation, maintaining good academic standing, and possessing proof of tetanus and covid-19 vaccinations.
