Registered nurses will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients/Families to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. They must promote optimal patient health, well-Being, and safety using the nursing process and adhering to standards and the state nurse practice act.

Candidates must have an associates degree in nursing or a nursing diploma, and a current rn license is required. While a bachelor of science in nursing is preferred, one year of experience is preferred, and graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required for new graduates.
