CLT Registered Nurse Trainer-Kankakee/Tinley

The rn nurse trainer evaluates and addresses the medical, health, and safety needs of clients residing in host family settings, while also monitoring medication regimes and documenting client progress and interventions. This role includes conducting essential medication training and skills observation for caregivers and staff, serving as a clinical resource, and responding to urgent medical calls 24/7.

Candidates must possess a current illinois registered nurse license, cpr certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable vehicle access. A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience is required, preferably with one year working with the developmental disabilities population, and the ability to obtain a dhs nurse trainer certificate within three months.
