Teacher, long term substitute- Special edcucation center program, multi intensive autism, 1st-4th grade -Temporary

The substitute teacher is responsible for delivering the appropriate grade-Level standard-Based curriculum while the regular teacher is absent, which includes counseling students to support achievement and enforcing rules of conduct. Duties also involve observing, evaluating, and reporting on student performance, preparing educational materials, and communicating with parents and staff to resolve academic and behavioral issues.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and possess a valid colorado department of education (Cde) teaching license, though a cde application receipt is accepted for 90 days. Candidates are also required to live with a permanent home address in colorado and demonstrate a commitment to educational excellence and equity for all students.
