The teacher will support adolescents (ages 11 to 17) in an intensive inpatient residential treatment program by focusing on regular academics and addressing learning gaps due to curriculum variations. This role requires working within a structured environment that utilizes social/emotional therapy and trauma-informed care for military families' children.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and be a Florida certified teacher for grades 6-12 in Math, Science, ELA, and Social Studies, with the ability to obtain ESE certification within six months. Additional requirements include knowledge of educational theories, the ability to manage multi-level students in a small class, computer literacy, and passing a Level 2 Background Screening and drug test.
Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening to work in Healthcare (AHCA) and Pre-employment Drug Test.
