CAVA- English Language Development Specialist - Eligibility Pool

English language development specialists provide standards-Based targeted instruction in virtual classrooms based on ca eld standards, support content coursework, and build relationships through consistent outreach. They are also responsible for managing eld software, facilitating elpac testing, processing reclassifications, and ensuring compliance data tracking for the ell program.

Applicants must possess a valid/Current preliminary/Clear/Life california multiple or single subject teaching credential along with the california english learner authorization, and must be a permanent california resident residing in one of the 42 serviced counties. A bachelor's degree is required, and candidates must be willing to teach all grades k-12, despite potential assignment to a specific grade span.
