The Substitute Pre-K Teacher will implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities while fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young learners. Responsibilities also include supervising children, conducting classroom routines like meals and rest time, and collaborating with teaching assistants and staff.
Candidates must possess a State Certified Substitute Teaching Certification or a State Teaching Certification meeting or exceeding substitute requirements, or a CE or CEAS issued by the NJ Dept of Education. Experience in a Pre-K setting or equivalent work with children and a team, along with strong soft skills, is required.
