Patient Care Technician - Youth Apprentice

The patient care technician-Youth apprentice performs delegated, evidence-Based nursing care activities to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient under supervision. Responsibilities include checking vital signs, assisting with basic needs, collecting clinical data, and ensuring patient safety through continuous monitoring and reporting.

Applicants must be a high school junior or senior student, at least 16 years of age, and have school approval to enter the youth apprenticeship program. A preferred interest in the healthcare field and current american heart association basic life support (Bls) certification are also required.
