Patient Care Technician - Youth Apprentice

The patient care technician-Youth apprentice performs delegated, evidence-Based nursing care activities to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient under supervision. This includes monitoring vital signs, assisting with basic needs, and collecting clinical data while collaborating with the care team.

Applicants must be a high school junior or senior student, at least 16 years old, and have school approval to enter the youth apprenticeship program, with a preference for interest in the healthcare field. A requirement includes holding the american heart association healthcare provider life support (Bls) certification.
