Water Safety Instructor - Safari Island Community Center

The swim instructor is responsible for conducting group and one-On-One private swim lessons, designing and implementing training programs, and fostering a positive environment for athletes of all ages and abilities. Essential duties include maintaining required certifications, teaching water safety skills following the american red cross curriculum, monitoring performance, and ensuring participant safety at all times.

Candidates must maintain valid american red cross certifications (Water safety, basic life support, bloodborne pathogens) or be willing to obtain them, and must be at least 16 years old. Ideal candidates possess a thorough understanding of swimming fundamentals, success in customer service, and an action-Oriented attitude.
