26-27 Middle School Special Education Teacher

The teacher is responsible for providing support to general educators, implementing modifications, and delivering direct instruction to special education students according to their individual education plans (Ieps). This includes executing adopted educational programming, planning rigorous lessons, and collaborating with staff and parents.

Candidates must possess wisconsin teaching certification in special education and will work with grades 6-8, preferably having prior urban education teaching experience. Responsibilities involve planning and delivering instruction tailored to individual student needs, maintaining classroom environments, and participating in assessment processes.
