Core responsibilities
The school psychologist will administer and interpret standardized assessments, conduct comprehensive evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention planning, and develop evidence-Based interventions for students. Responsibilities also include assisting with iep/Section 504 processes, providing direct counseling, and consulting with families and staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a preliminary or standard school psychologist certificate issued by the michigan department of education (Mde). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with educators and parents.
