Home School Enrichment Literature Teacher Grades 1 to 8

The teacher will promote the school's mission by engaging first through sixth-Grade students with classical literature, creating an atmosphere of excellence, and actively seeking collaborative relationships with parents. Essential functions include using a curriculum map to create weekly lessons, guiding students to find truth and beauty in literature, teaching multiple sections, and building excellent school culture by upholding high academic and behavioral standards.

A bachelor's degree or passing praxis score in the subject area is preferred, though state teaching certification is not required; previous classroom experience with elementary or middle school students is also preferred. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge of the classical tradition, expertise in literature, a desire to partner with parents, and a commitment to high moral character.
