Youth Development Professional

The youth development professional is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising member activities within a specific program area to support outcomes like academic success and good character. This includes creating an environment that promotes participation, registering new members, and providing guidance and role modeling.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and have experience working with children, along with knowledge of youth development principles. Essential qualifications include the ability to motivate youth, manage behavior problems, plan quality programs, and maintain mandatory cpr and first aid certifications.
