Youth Development Professional

The youth development professional is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising member activities within a specific program area to support outcomes like academic success and good character. This includes creating an environment that promotes participation, registering new members, and ensuring the safety and quality of all programs and the branch facility.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with experience working with children and knowledge of youth development principles. Candidates must be able to motivate youth, manage behavior problems, plan quality programs, and possess mandatory cpr and first aid certifications, along with a valid state driver's license.
