Instructor (Phlebotomy) (51505)

The instructor is responsible for training and continuing education of collection services staff in all blood collection procedures, including medical history, phlebotomy, quality control, and cpr. This role ensures trainees gain clinical experience, safely perform required skills, and successfully complete competency testing while maintaining communication with supervisory staff.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though some college is preferred, along with a minimum of six months of supervisory experience. Candidates must possess intermediate computer skills (Excel, word) and the ability to clearly communicate and enforce complex regulations from bodies like the fda and aabb.
