  • Purpose: - The Activities Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities designed to enhance the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of clients. This role is crucial in fostering a supportive environment that promotes personal growth and social interaction among participants.

  • Responsibilities: - Develop and implement activity programs tailored to the needs and interests of clients, ensuring they align with therapeutic goals. - Facilitate group and individual activities, providing guidance and support to encourage participation and engagement. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. - Maintain accurate records of client participation and progress, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. - Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during activities, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Assist in the training and supervision of volunteers and interns involved in activity programs. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new activity initiatives and strategies. - Stay informed about current trends and best practices in recreational therapy to continually enhance program offerings.
