Building Substitute

Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing the classroom environment in the absence of the classroom teacher. They ensure continuity in the classroom by following lesson plans and maintaining discipline.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid substitute teaching permit as required by the doe. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential, with experience working with at-Risk student populations preferred.
