After School Counselor

The after school counselor implements curriculum and supervises children during program activities. They create lesson plans, maintain a positive environment, and engage with parents about their child's progress.

Candidates must meet educational and experience qualifications as established by state law and the ymca. Certifications in cpr, first aid, and child abuse prevention are required, along with previous experience working with children.
