Core responsibilities
The occupational therapist will provide center-Based therapy for children with autism, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including slps, bcbas, and rbts. Responsibilities also include conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and providing training to team members and families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in occupational therapy (Mot), nbcot certification, and current state licensure, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Essential functions require physical capabilities such as lifting up to 30 pounds, assuming various postures for extended periods, and attending to basic client needs like feeding and toileting.
