Core responsibilities
The floating teacher will primarily provide substitute coverage for teachers who are absent or on break, ensuring continuity of care across multiple classrooms. Responsibilities also include assisting with routine classroom opening/Closing tasks, preparing materials, engaging with students, and supporting daily activities like meals and naptime.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an eec teacher certification, cda, or equivalent degree and experience, along with prior daycare experience in a center-Based or private school setting. The role requires an energetic demeanor, availability to work flexible hours between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm monday through friday, and the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for most of the day.
