Private Lesson Swim Instructor

The instructor is responsible for teaching the provided swim school curriculum and ensuring the safety of participants enrolled in swim instruction under the supervision of the senior director of aquatics. This includes continual evaluation of participant progress, maintaining accurate skill records, and enforcing pool rules and policies.

Candidates must be proficient in swimming and safety skills, capable of maintaining certification-Level physical and mental readiness, and possess teaching skills for working with youth according to ymca standards. Physical requirements include the ability to respond to emergencies, administer cpr/Oxygen/First aid, and perform rescues.
