School Nurse Per Diem - ESCS - White Plains

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing services for students at the john coleman school, collaborating with various staff and external agencies to ensure continuous health care for each student. Key functions include performing nursing assessments, administering care like medications and enteral feedings, maintaining accurate documentation, and responding to medical emergencies.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited rn program and possess an active new york state rn license and registration certificate, with a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing preferred. Required experience includes one year of pediatric nursing, with a preference for two years working with medically compromised special needs children.
