Counselor (61323)

The counselor is responsible for providing personal and career counseling to students to improve employability and ensure continued enrollment and success in the job corps program. This includes identifying and remediating barriers, developing individualized career plans, and ensuring strict confidentiality of student data.

A bachelor's degree is required, which must include at least 15 semester hours in social services-Related instruction. Candidates must also possess a minimum of one year of experience in counseling or a related field, along with a valid in-State driver's license.
