ESOL Internship - Summer 2026 (UNPAID)

The intern will assist the adult education specialist in planning and providing english language training classes for refugees and immigrants, which includes coordinating class implementation through student contact and navigating educational barriers. Responsibilities also involve supporting teachers with materials, coordinating volunteers including childcare, and collecting data to support educational initiatives.

Candidates should be pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in education, social work, international relations, or related fields, and must possess patience, understanding, flexibility, and strong organizational skills. A desire to help refugees adjust to the u.s. And adherence to irc policies regarding confidentiality and client privacy are essential.
