  • FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Clinical Director and BCBA, the Senior Behavior Technician is responsible for overseeing and implementing client treatment plans through the guidance of funding entities, by providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children or adults diagnosed with a developmental disability. The Senior Behavior Technician is responsible for assisting Behavior Technicians and supporting them with utilizing ABA techniques and applying them to increase the client’s skill deficits or manage problem behavior. The Senior Behavior Technician is responsible for establishing timelines for realistic growth opportunities in the areas of behavior management, communication skills, community use, functional academics, functional pre-academics, home living skills, leisure exploration, self-care skills, self-direction, social skills, and vocational skills.

  • FUNCTIONS: Assist BCBA’s with supervising Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plan for clients; Provide regular performance feedback to Behavior Technicians related to client program implementation. Schedules and attend regular home visits with clients to review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, chart progress and provide parent training; Coordinate visits to overlap with Behavior Technician to observe session and provide coaching and clinical support in all settings where services, as needed. Regularly analyze session data and reviews documentation submitted by Behavior Technicians; such as session notes; updates individualized programs to ensure that they reflect Design and supervise individual ABA treatment programs assigned by BCBA, in natural settings – in-home, out in the community, in schools and within other peer-social contexts Plans and leads treatment plan review meetings with family.
  • Address program delivery with families: including parent coaching to support the treatment plan, challenges with implementation, parent participation, scheduling, and work environment as necessary Conduct initial assessment and provide progress reports every 6 months to generate treatment plans and assessment reports, as needed or directed. Manage the performance of direct reports. Work directly with BCBA to implement support/development plans and/or formal corrective action when necessary Responsible for meeting billable hour requirements set forth in annual budget and for providing efficient and effective service in all areas of performance. Maintain accurate documentation of billable tasks that meets the requirements of regulatory agencies and funding sources and is HIPAA compliant. Track direct and indirect client sessions to ensure that services are provided to the full extent of the authorization for each client. Maintains up to date files for all clients assigned. Cover sessions, as needed Must attend staff meetings, training, and other meetings as requested Responsible to complete additional job duties as assigned by management Attaining and achieving position competencies in relation to role responsibilities
