Assistant Athletic Trainer

The assistant athletic trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries. They will also provide education and counseling to student athletes and assist the head athletic trainer with various administrative duties.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and experience in high school athletics, along with certification from the national athletic trainer’s association. State of maine athletic training licensure and strong interpersonal skills are also required.
